It examines methods and procedures in sampling, measuring, describing, mapping, and ascertaining field data. Students will be exposed to hands-on field experiences pertinent to industry and academia. A Brunton™ pocket transit (GeoLite Version Sku: F-5030) is essential for this course and must be purchased. You must be able to drive yourself or ride-share (preferred) to various Front Range locations. Some moderate to easy hiking will be involved at the destinations.
